Our cedar lodge was built as a private residence in the mid-seventies, expanded and converted in 1993 and further enhanced in 2002. The B&B is over 6,000 square feet and is decorated in a Montana Lodge motif with fabrics influenced by Native American textiles. Individually appointed accommodations, some with balconies, are especially designed with our guests' comfort in mind. The rooms feature Montana Wood Designs custom-made lodge pole beds or exquisite iron beds and are characterized by mountain or garden views.
The Great Northern Suite is truly luxurious. It features a king bed, gas log fireplace, private balcony, large jetted tub and a Swiss therapeutic shower. A separate sitting room is lofted over the Great Room.
The Montana Suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating groups of five. One of these unique rooms may also be rented individually with a queen and a twin bed.
The Beargrass Suite is a two bedroom space with interior and exterior seating areas. There is a wet bar complete with refrigerator and microwave. The spacious bathroom has a jetted tub with a rain shower.
The Glacier Park Room is airy and light with a vaulted wood ceiling and a skylight in the bathroom. This room features a king bed, gas log fireplace and a balcony with mountain and garden views.
The Queen Garden Room is a first floor, wheelchair accessible room with a garden view and a porch with a swing.
The Twin Garden Room has two twin beds and shares the porch and swing with its adjoining room.
The charming Hummingbird Room is tastefully decorated and comfortably appointed. This queen room has a view of Whitefish Mountain Resort and a balcony.
There are two Standard Queen Rooms, each with one queen bed, vaulted wood ceilings and skylights in the bathrooms.
All guests are invited to our full breakfast. A complimentary glass of wine or beer is offered each evening along with a light appetizer. All rooms have telephones, wireless high speed Internet, plush robes and are air conditioned. The Lodge has a guest computer, guest laundry, small theatre/library room with big screen TV and a hot tub on the porch with garden and mountain views.
